Sophie Moreno Kris, an emerging filmmaker, is driven by a passion for storytelling, strong organizational skills, and leadership. Born in Spain, she embraces diverse cultures and thrives on creative challenges.

She wrote and produced Evergreen Avenue (2025) and produced There’s No Place Like Home (2024), which won 1st Prize at the Ottawa Youth Film Festival. Her work as a 1st AD on films such as The Witness (2024), For Vaani (2025), Family Values (2025), 360Kids (2025), and With Every Broken Breath (2025) showcases her ability to maintain efficient production schedules while cultivating a positive and inclusive work environment.

While studying Film and Television Production at Humber College (set to graduate in 2025), Sophie is gaining experience through internships at Frank Content Productions and the Toronto Screenwriting Conference. She is a committed planner and problem-solver dedicated to creating a meaningful and impactful presence in the industry.
